Monday, January 26 - 2:20 p.m. Update:
We continue to closely monitor winter storm conditions impacting much of the U.S., including snow and extreme cold temperatures. A small number of our communities have experienced mechanical issues related to the extreme cold, and our facilities teams have responded quickly to address and repair items.
Overall, our communities are operating well, and most residents have not been impacted. Our communities remain safe, and our on-site teams are standing by and are prepared to respond to any residents’ needs.

We encourage residents, families, and team members to stay safe and take all necessary precautions if traveling or spending time outdoors during severe winter weather.

Thursday, January 22 - 12:50 p.m. Update:
Winter storm advisories are currently in place across 35 states, stretching from the Southwest to the Northeast. Residents and families in the following impacted areas are urged to avoid unnecessary travel. We can assure you that all of our communities in these areas are fully prepared for any potential impacts:

Southern Plains/South: Significant ice and snow are impacting Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the Carolinas.

Midwest: Dangerous wind chills are forecast for Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and northern Illinois.

Northeast/Mid-Atlantic: Snow, sleet, and freezing rain are expected to move through this region, affecting areas from Pennsylvania to New York.

Mountain West: Active winter weather alerts are in place for parts of Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.
We have reviewed emergency response plans to address any potential weather-related disruptions. Additionally, management teams have ensured that communities are stocked with essential supplies including food, water and medications (where necessary).
