Saturday, January 11 - 5:00 p.m. EST Update:

Watermark at Westwood Village - With the expansion of some of the fires, we are happy to share we continue to remain in a safe zone. While this is welcome news, there are areas not far from the vicinity that are in a level 2 zone. Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking community members to remain vigilant and be ready to evacuate, should the alert be extended to our community. We will provide additional information and updates via our website and Facebook, if needed. Additionally, we have supplemented staff on site in preparation. The safety of our team members and residents remains our top priority and we are prepared to act swiftly should conditions change.

Wednesday, January 8 - 7:35 p.m. EST Update:

We are pleased to share that the evacuation warnings for the wildfires within the area around Watermark at Westwood Village have been lifted due to a decrease in wind activity and the risk level has significantly decreased. While this is welcome news, we want to assure everyone that we remain vigilant and will continue to closely monitor the situation. The safety of our team members and residents remains our top priority and we are prepared to act swiftly should conditions change.

Wednesday, January 8 - 1 p.m. EST Update:

Keeping our residents safe and their families informed is our top priority during all severe weather and emergency situations. As part of our commitment to our residents’ safety and well-being, we want to provide an important update regarding the wildfire currently impacting Greater Los Angeles, California.

As you may be aware, this wildfire is in the vicinity of The Watermark at Westwood Village. While we are closely monitoring the situation and have taken all necessary preparations and precautions ahead of time to ensure the safety of our residents and team members, there may be a possibility of mandatory evacuations if conditions worsen. Rest assured that our team is fully prepared if those circumstances should occur, and we will communicate any updates promptly.
